Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) located in St. Louis, MO. This full-time night-shift position involves providing respiratory care to a diverse patient population across multiple hospital units. The role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work confidently within a busy healthcare environment.

Job Details

  • Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS)
  • Location: St. Louis, MO
  • Shift: Nights, 3x12 hours, 1830 0700, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Certifications: BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association (AHA) only; required licensure with Missouri Board for Respiratory Care
  • Education Requirements: Not specified; experience requirement: 0 years
  • Experience: 1 year of adult critical care, high-volume emergency department with trauma experience preferred, blood gas draw and interpretation skills advantageous
  • Clinical Responsibilities: Providing respiratory therapy to adult and pediatric patients throughout the hospital, including neuro, trauma, CCU, SICU, ED, and CVICU units
  • Additional Requirements: Pediatric patients are stabilized in the emergency department and transported to a sister hospital; strong, confident therapist with good time management skills and willingness to assist coworkers as needed.
  • Schedule includes potential requirements for float rotation, as determined by the facility.
