Description
Job Summary:
Pharmacist Inpatient (PHARM IP) Location: Not Specified. This inpatient pharmacy position involves providing pharmaceutical care within a healthcare facility. The Pharmacist will be responsible for medication dispensing, preparing sterile products, maintaining medication records, and participating in medication therapy management to ensure patient safety and compliance with pharmacy laws and hospital protocols.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Successful completion of all educational requirements mandated for state licensure; BLS if required by State; EPIC Experience; Minimum Two (2) Years of Recent Hospital Experience.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The Pharmacist will oversee inventory management, participate in hospital formulary development, ensure medication safety and proper documentation, and support quality assurance activities related to drug utilization. The role includes medication reconciliation for discharge, clinical consultation, and promoting a safe, compliant pharmacy environment.
