Job Summary
The CT Technologist position in the CT specialty is based in the local healthcare provider organization. This role involves performing prescribed computed tomography procedures with a focus on delivering high-quality imaging and ensuring patient safety. The position requires adherence to department protocols and collaboration with medical staff to facilitate accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Job Details

• Position Description: Performs computed tomography procedures by following and verifying referring providers' orders. Uses independent judgment and applies learned methodologies according to established policy and procedures.
• Required Qualifications: Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program, National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(R) or ARRT(NM)) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB(CNMT)), State Licensure for AZ, WY, NV; includes Radiography or Nuclear Medicine and CT license prior to hire (not required in Colorado), Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography required within 18 months of hire from ARRT(CT) or NMTCB (CT), Certification for BLS.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with two years of experience. Must demonstrate effective communication skills, human relations skills, analyze data, and solve problems.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education and/or experience are preferred.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must have ARRT CT Certification and two years of experience. There is no call requirement.
