Job Summary
CT Technologist Madison, WI
This position involves performing a wide variety of routine and advanced computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures in a Level I Trauma center. The role requires working collaboratively with medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care during 10-hour days, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend shifts based on operational needs.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology, Wisconsin License Radiographer; 2 years clinical CT imaging experience required; 0 years experience minimum.
- Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Additional Responsibilities: Set up imaging rooms, perform routine and advanced imaging procedures, maintain equipment, participate in quality assurance, troubleshoot technical issues, and prioritize procedures. Work with GE CT, Canon Insight, and Ulrich injector equipment.
- Required Qualifications: Current ARRT (CT) and Radiography (R) certifications, Wisconsin State radiographer license, Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program, and BLS certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and pediatric acute care, trauma level I or II, community hospital experience, and familiarity with PACS.
- Additional Information: Successful candidates must pass strict Pass/Fail telemetry exams with two attempts, including adult and pediatric cardiac interpretation assessments, prior to start.
