Job Details

• Qualifications: Oklahoma Board of Pharmacy (BOP) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association; 1-year recent pharmacy experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, including weekends, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Compounding and dispensing medications according to prescriptions, supervising technical support staff, participating in performance improvement plans, and advising medical staff on pharmaceutical and safety issues. Ensures safe medication use, maintains proper aseptic techniques, and assists with clinical, quality, and educational programs. Monitors patient drug therapy appropriateness and adjusts doses based on pharmacokinetics principles. Keeps accurate records, ensures the security of controlled substances, and maintains medication and pharmacy equipment.
• Additional Information: Must have OK BOP license, BLS certification, and at least one-year recent hospital pharmacy experience. Shifts will be 5x8 hours including weekends. Must use the specified submission template to be considered for this role.
