Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Location not specified. This position involves providing respiratory care for pediatric to geriatric patients in a critical access hospital setting. The role requires independent operation of various respiratory equipment and collaboration with the medical team to diagnose and treat respiratory conditions.

Job Details

• Certifications: Active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification, Vermont RRT License.
• Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of current Respiratory Therapy experience required; at least 6 months previous travel experience highly preferred.
• Location Requirements: Vermont license required.
• Years of Experience: 0 years minimum, 2 or more years preferred.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Ability to work independently with invasive and non-invasive ventilation, draw arterial blood gases, assist with intubations, and set up various respiratory care equipment. The candidate must be willing to learn new skills such as home sleep testing and pulmonary rehabilitation. Must have own vehicle and include perm address in profile. All scheduling requests, including time off and holiday coverage, must be made at submission.
