This position involves providing respiratory therapy services within a dedicated Pediatric and Critical Care unit at a busy healthcare facility. The role requires delivering patient care in accordance with hospital standards, ensuring safety, and utilizing advanced respiratory equipment.

Job Details

• Qualifications: North Carolina Respiratory License, registered respiratory therapist (RRT), BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Perform procedures on pediatric patients, operate GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/peds vents, Newport HT70 transport vents, V60 non-invasive devices, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices. Follow unit policies and guidelines; ensure safety and quality care standards are met.
• Certifications: RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: No specific experience required; the role involves working in all critical care units and floors, with a varying weekend schedule (at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule).
