Job Details

• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
• Education Requirements: Not specified
• Years of Experience: 2+ years required
• Location Requirements: Must be able to work in Oklahoma City
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Responsibilities include performing all aspects of sleep recordings, obtaining and documenting patient history, preparing patients, recognizing and troubleshooting artifacts, and ensuring accurate data collection.
• Recognizes equipment malfunctions and communicates effectively with patients and staff to promote optimal testing conditions.
• Complete sleep studies according to departmental policy and forward data appropriately.
• Recognizes, monitors, and eliminates artifacts such as high-impedance leads, muscle activity, eye movements, respiration, and EKG artifacts.
• No float rotation is required.
