Job Summary
MRI Technologist - MRI - Location: Not Specified. This position involves operating and preparing specialized magnetic resonance imaging equipment to perform diagnostic procedures. The role requires applying technical judgment to obtain high-quality studies in accordance with written protocols and patient needs.

Job Details

Required Qualifications: Graduate of a JCERT approved School of Radiologic Technology, New York State License (L.R.T.), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified), and 0 years of experience.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00AM - 6:00PM, 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities include performing MRI imaging procedures, positioning patients and coils for optimal imaging, providing patient education, reviewing safety questionnaires, ensuring proper labeling and quality of images, transmitting images to PACS, maintaining cleanliness and supplies, documenting patient and exam details in the Radiology Information System, scheduling exams, reporting equipment issues or unsafe conditions, assisting physicians, and adhering to safety protocols and infection control policies.
Maintain licensure and adhere to all safety and professional development requirements.
