Job Details

• Position Description: Help patients see the full picture of their heart health while enjoying an exceptional quality of life in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. The Echocardiographer will perform diagnostic echocardiography studies, including transthoracic, limited, contrast, and bubble studies, supporting detection, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease.
• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography, Echocardiography, or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI required. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required. Minimum one year of echocardiography experience required. Travel experience required.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum 32 hours per week. Traveler will start on Wednesdays. During the orientation week, travelers on a 48-hour contract will only be guaranteed 36 hours due to midweek start.
• Additional Information: Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing, as the organization does not provide housing. Reliable personal transportation is required due to rural location with no public transit options. Credentialing is due five business days prior to start date.
