Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) - Days located in Newburgh, IN. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care within a 280-bed acute care hospital, primarily focusing on medical/surgical units and ICU stepdown units. The position requires adaptability to float across inpatient units and other hospital facilities, supporting the organizations commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, Experience, and Location Requirements: A minimum of 1 year of experience in medical/surgical respiratory therapy, ICU stepdown respiratory therapy, with certifications including AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Indiana state license, and NBRC certification. Education includes an Associate Degree or Certificate.
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, guaranteed 36 hours per week, with an every other weekend and holiday rotation.
• Additional Responsibilities: Must be a hard worker, resilient, adaptable to change, and social in nature. Scrub colors are specified as black.
• Additional Information: The position requires EPIC charting experience highly preferred and involves float requirements to inpatient units and possibly other hospital facilities. The start date is scheduled for 10/12/2026 with an end date of 01/10/2027.
