Job Summary
Location: CT Technologist The organization is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a Level I trauma center. The role involves performing a variety of CT imaging procedures, including adult acute care, outpatient, ICU, and emergency department settings, with an emphasis on abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, and musculoskeletal imaging. The position offers a full-time schedule with responsibilities including patient preparation, contrast administration, image acquisition, and post-processing.

Job Details

• Position/Specialty: CT Technologist
• Shift: 1st shift/days, 4 ten-hour shifts per week, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, every third weekend, call required at least one night per week.
• Schedule: Days, 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, ARRT-CT, BLS certification, active Illinois state license, minimum 2 years' experience required, applicable for first-timers as well.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult acute care, outpatient, ICU, emergency department, and Level I trauma settings; proficiency with 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement; familiarity with Cerner charting system.
• Additional Responsibilities: Performing abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, and spine CT scans with contrast, including vascular and trauma imaging; operating advanced imaging techniques such as coronary CTA and multiplanar reconstructions; adhering to radiation safety and PPE protocols; administering contrast media and starting peripheral IVs.
• Additional Information: The role may require floating within scope to meet facility needs; candidates should be prepared for comprehensive orientation and compliance requirements including licensed practice, background checks, and module completion.
