Job Summary
The CT Tech (Computed Tomography Technologist) position is based in the healthcare facility and involves performing a variety of CT imaging procedures to support adult acute care, outpatient, ICU, emergency department, and Level I Trauma patient care. The role requires maintaining safety and image quality standards while working in a fast-paced clinical environment on the third shift.

Job Details

Position/ Specialty: CT Tech CT Technologist
Shift: Nights, 3 12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: ARRT, ARRT-CT, BLS certifications; active Illinois state license or in application process with ETA; minimum 2 years experience; valid drivers license in the state of Illinois; Bachelors or Associates degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field; no minimum experience requirement otherwise
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
Required Work Setting Experience: Adult acute care, adult outpatient, ICU, emergency department, Level I trauma center
Required Skills and Procedures: Abdomen and pelvis scans with and without contrast, chest scans with and without contrast, head and neck scans, vascular chest imaging, advanced image display and post-processing skills including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction, and performing procedures like coronary CTA and starting peripheral IVs
Additional Responsibilities: Ensuring radiation safety, preparing and administering contrast media, maintaining PPE and isolation precautions, and working within scope to meet facility needs
Start Date: 10/19/2026
End Date: 01/18/2027
Special Requirements: Experience with trauma level I setting, advanced imaging techniques, and specific clinical procedures
