The CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist is responsible for producing high-quality computed tomography scans and delivering exceptional patient care within a healthcare facility setting. This role involves operating imaging equipment, managing patient history, and ensuring adherence to safety and departmental protocols.

Job Details

• Position: CT Technologist Specialty: CT
• Location: The healthcare provider
• Shift: Rotating shift, Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Monday from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
• Schedule: Shift hours total 12 hours per day, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology Program in an approved school; ARRT Registered in Radiology, CT registered within 1 year of hire or transfer; Licensed as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in the State of Florida; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association; Minimum 1 year experience as CT Technologist preferred; Basic computer knowledge including operation of a PC, creation, saving, and printing of documents, and data input; EPIC experience is required, and the candidate will be required to pass an EPIC assessment on their first day of the assignment.
• Additional Information: Performs ancillary duties as assigned. Demonstrates understanding of Hospital Information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). Interprets imaging results, operates power injector systems, and maintains safety standards. Must be able to interview patients, explain procedures, and obtain signatures. Recognizes normal and abnormal image findings, reports them accordingly, and maintains supplies and equipment appropriately.
• Preferred Qualifications: ARRT-CT certification, experience with Siemens imaging equipment within the last year.
