Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) The organization is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist for an inpatient setting. The role involves providing comprehensive occupational therapy services through evaluation, treatment planning, and patient care delivery, supporting overall patient recovery and well-being.

Job Details

• Certifications: Valid Texas Occupational Therapy license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an American Occupational Therapy Association (A.O.T.A.) accredited school; Master's degree from an A.O.T.A..-accredited school is highly desired.
• Location Requirements: Must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility.
• Experience: 0 years minimum required; 2 years of occupational therapy experience preferred.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include performing detailed clinical assessments, developing age-appropriate care plans, and accurately documenting patient treatments.
• Additional information: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. The role requires responding effectively to new and changing work assignments in a dynamic clinical environment.
