Ultrasonographer General in the healthcare setting located in the area. This position involves performing general ultrasound procedures with a focus on accuracy and patient care. The role requires technical proficiency with ultrasound equipment and adherence to department policies to ensure quality imaging services.
Job Details
- Position Description: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification; Shift hours: 3:30 PM to 11:00 PM; Call responsibilities based on department needs for any shift that may arise, including weekdays and weekends currently at 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM during the third shift, with at least 1 year of hospital experience involving Siemens and GE ultrasound machines, Electronic Health Record (EHR) system (Epic); may need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in BLS; ARDMS certification; licensure verification; minimum of 1 year of hospital ultrasound experience with Siemens and GE equipment; proficiency in Electronic Health Record systems such as Epic; valid professional licenses and references.
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The position includes responsibilities for performing ultrasound examinations, maintaining patient safety, and adhering to department standards. Candidates should be flexible to accommodate variable shifts and call responsibilities.
