Job Summary
The CT Technologist, specializing in imaging/CT, is based in McKinney, TX. This role involves performing computed tomography procedures on both ambulatory and hospital patients under the supervision of a Radiologist. The position focuses on delivering high-quality imaging services in accordance with established protocols to support accurate diagnosis.

Job Details

• Certifications required: BLS (American Heart Association), ARRT (Computed Tomography), TX MRT.
• Education: Relevant healthcare certification/license as required by state and accreditation standards.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in CT, with experience in trauma, IV starts, and procedures.
• Location: McKinney, TX.
• Schedule: Evenings, 12-hour shifts, Thursday through Saturday, 36 hours per week.
• Schedule details: 3x12-hour shifts, 1500-0330.
• Additional information: Performs high-quality CT procedures efficiently and accurately, adhering to safety, infection control, and radiation policies. Demonstrates understanding of radiation dose management and patient communication techniques, including using the AIDET framework. Prepares patients for exams, positions them appropriately, and maintains equipment in optimal condition. Maintains proper documentation and records of procedures. Supports a safe environment by screening patients and ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Serves as a preceptor for new team members and can take call if required.
