Job Summary
The CT Technologist position is based in the healthcare setting and involves the coordination and performance of computerized tomography (CT) scanning procedures. This role requires operating complex imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and providing high-quality diagnostic images to support patient care.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS, ARRT
• Education Requirements: Certification as a CT Technologist, Michigan license verification required for nurses, with physical copies of certifications necessary if listed above
• Experience Requirements: 2+ years of CT experience is required; 0 years of experience is listed as minimum
• Location Requirements: State licensing verification required; profile standards for health system-wide participation
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Responsibilities include setting up and monitoring CT equipment, patient transfer and positioning using proper safety techniques, preparing and injecting contrast media intravenously, obtaining and recording images, maintaining equipment calibration and quality control, and assisting radiologists with specialized procedures.
• Additional responsibilities involve ensuring patient safety, monitoring for allergic reactions, assisting in emergency situations, and maintaining a clean, stocked, and organized work environment.
• Submission Requirements: Two or more years of CT experience and skills checklist completed within one year; references not required unless specified. Michigan license verification and certifications must be provided.
