Job Summary
Ultrasound Technician, Echocardiographer St. Louis, MO
This position involves providing diagnostic cardiac ultrasound services to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The echocardiographer will utilize ultrasound equipment to gather data necessary for the assessment of cardiac conditions, supporting clinical decision-making in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS (from American Heart Association (AHA) only). Required Licensure: RDCS or RCS.
- Education Requirements: Technological education in diagnostic ultrasound.
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years as an echocardiographer.
- Location Requirements: Must be able to work in St. Louis, MO.
- Schedule: Days, 4x10s, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include performing Cardiac stress tests and assisting with Transesophageal Echocardiograms (not mandatory), transporting ultrasound equipment, and assisting in lifting patients.
- Candidates should be capable of walking long distances and working in a physically active environment.
- Additional Requirements: Must have the ability to perform related duties as assigned.
