Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for performing CT scans and radiology exams, including X-rays, with a focus on patient care and operational efficiency. Responsible for scheduling mobile imaging units such as MRI, ultrasounds, and Dexascans.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), ARRT certification, a valid ARRT radiologic technologist certification, and a current license to practice radiologic technology. Minimum one year of clinical imaging experience. Location-specific licensing requirements.
• Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, totaling 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The department has one CT scanner, one mobile DR (Digital Radiography) unit, and one DR room. Experience with GE, Philips, or Siemens equipment preferred. The department performs an average of five scans and studies per day, combining X-rays and CTs. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system Epic and PACS software is required. CT is Toshiba brand, X-ray room is Carestream, and mobile units are Siemens. The role includes weekly night shifts and response time expectation of 20 minutes. Scrubs or casual wear preferred; jeans are not allowed. Department-specific orientation will be provided. Certified Radiologic Technologist with ARRT and BLS certifications are required prior to start.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
