Job Summary
Pharmacist Inpatient (PHARM IP) Located at the healthcare provider's facility, this role involves providing specialized pharmaceutical care within an inpatient setting. The position requires verifying pharmacist orders in Epic, managing floor stock, compounded sterile products, and coordinating medication schedules for surgeries.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; hospital pharmacy experience; 2-3 years of experience preferred; no minimum years of experience required.
• Schedule: Evenings, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, with no weekends or call required.
• Responsibilities include order verification in Epic, checking floor stock and compounded sterile products, high-risk VTE determination, and scheduling surgery preparations 7-10 days prior to procedures.
• Utilizes equipment such as Epic and MILT systems.
• Orientation will focus on Epic order verification, with additional pharmacist duties including medication preparation, sterile compounding, and double-checking technician work.
• No floating requirement to other units/departments.
• Dress code: Business casual or black scrubs.
• License to submit is required.
• Start date: 10/12/2026, End date: 01/11/2027.
