Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Located in the healthcare facility, this position involves providing respiratory therapy services primarily for adult patients with minimal pediatric and neonatal cases. The role encompasses basic therapies, ventilator management, ABGs, EKGs, and assisting with intubations, supporting patient care in inpatient, emergency, and ICU settings.

Job Details

• Certifications required: ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS (American Heart Association), and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC.
• Education & experience: 0 years of minimum experience required; valid WI state RN license preferred.
• Location requirements: Candidates must reside within 80 miles of the facility.
• Schedule: Shifts are 12 hours, days and nights, with rotating weekends and holidays; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include: administering basic therapies, managing ventilators, ABGs, EKGs, Bipap/Cpap devices, assisting with intubation, charge verification, and proper charting in Cerner.
• Additional information: For new clinicians, one day of department orientation with the lead, shadow shifts, and equipment overview are provided. Previous experience with Marshfield is required to have ended at least 6 months prior to submission.
