Description

Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Polysomnographer in a sleep specialty position at a healthcare facility. This role involves performing diagnostic polysomnographic procedures, titration studies, and maintenance of wakefulness tests. The Polysomnographer will record and provide relevant data to physicians for the diagnosis and treatment of sleep/wake disorders.

Job Details

Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS (AHA), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) via BRPT; Minimum 2 years sleep study experience; ND state license; Will consider registration from American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week, mostly on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays, with the possibility of varied shifts depending on need.
Responsibilities include performing quality diagnostic polysomnographic tests, titration, multiple sleep latency, and maintenance of wakefulness tests. Recording and providing accurate data for diagnostic use.
Equipment utilized includes computerized EPIC charting and natus software for sleep studies.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
