Description

Job Summary
Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician in the INTRA CL specialty, located in Fargo. This position involves providing high-quality imaging and supporting a variety of interventional procedures in a fast-paced, procedure-based environment. The IR Tech will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal diagnostic outcomes.

Job Details

Certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA); willingness to wait for licensure submission.
Education Requirements: Certified in Interventional Radiology setting with a minimum of 1 year of experience as an IR technician.
Location Requirements: Must be within 80 miles of the Fargo facility.
Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Interventional Radiology.
Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Shifts start at 6:30 AM and end at 5:30 PM.
Shift Hours: 10 hours per shift.
Additional Responsibilities: Must be able to float between two hospitals within Fargo.
Equipment and Procedures: Operates specialized imaging equipment, performs vascular angiograms, biopsies, drainages, tube placements, and other interventional procedures. Adheres to safety, infection control policies, and maintains patient confidentiality.
Orientation: 2-week training and orientation program, with potential for reduced orientation based on prior validation.
Experience Requirement: Minimum of 1 year practicing as an IR tech in an interventional radiology setting.
Licensure: Must submit a license to the licensing board; willing to wait for processing.
Call: Required, including every 3-4th weekend and up to 3 call shifts during weekdays.
Facility: Procedure-based unit working at two hospitals within Fargo.
