Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent; graduation from an accredited two-year program in Radiologic Technology approved by the Joint Commission on Education; California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License; California Fluoroscopy Permit; 0 years of experience required; or a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiological Technologist.
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 8/80 schedule, PM and grave shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Required Skills & Knowledge: Knowledge of modern radiology equipment and techniques; human anatomy and physiology; occupational and safety precautions for radiologic work; acute care hospital procedures; effective communication skills; ability to administer emergency first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation; maintain records and files; handle patients and staff tactfully and professionally; maintain confidentiality; and meet health requirements.

• Additional Responsibilities: Support fluoroscopic and specialized interventional radiography procedures, prepare rooms for examinations, ensure patient safety using ALARA principles, operate portable radiology equipment, review images for quality and identification, and maintain a clean work environment.
