Job Summary
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CCL TECH) position is located in a healthcare facility within the Des Moines area. This role involves supporting interventional radiology and cardiac cath laboratory procedures, requiring a minimum of 18 months of current experience in a cath lab setting. The position is scheduled for day shifts, with specific orientation dates set for late October through late December 2026.

Job Details

Required Qualifications: 18 months minimum experience in the Cardiovascular Catheterization Laboratory; ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification; BLS (Basic Life Support) through the American Heart Association; demonstrated scrubbing proficiency; peripheral vascular experience highly preferred; trauma level I experience preferred; trauma level II experience required; high school diploma or equivalent; valid drivers license.
Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week. Orientation sessions scheduled for 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, 11/23, 11/30, and 12/7, 2026.
Preferred Qualifications: Structural heart experience and previous travel experience within the past 18 months.
Additional Information: Candidate must have a work history/resume/employment history demonstrating 24 months of current cath lab experience; skills specific to the Cardiovascular Catheterization Laboratory discipline; availability to be floated across all Des Moines campuses to similar units; will be required to work 1-2 of the upcoming winter holidays; call schedule includes one night per week and every third weekend, from 7:30 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday; call rate applies; weekend call schedule with rare case assignments.
