Job Summary
A Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) is sought for a temporary assignment at a healthcare facility. The role involves performing CT scans and assisting radiologists in diagnostic procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to safety protocols. The position requires collaboration with clinical staff and supervision of student technologists to support high-quality imaging services.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Rotating shift, Monday-Wednesday, 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, with 2-3 call shifts every 6 weeks; minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; graduation from an accredited Allied Health Professionals program; registered in Radiologic Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or hold a permanent certification in Radiography from SCRQSA; current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider Card; one year of radiologic technologist experience preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Successful completion of an accredited Computed Tomography Program; ARRT registration in Computed Tomography (CT).
  • Additional Information: Performs clinical procedures under the supervision of certified radiologists, with a focus on patient care, safety, and efficiency. Responsible for proper use of imaging equipment, patient instruction, accurate data entry, and adherence to safety protocols including radiation safety according to ALARA principles. Collaborates with team members and supports departmental goals. Demonstrates flexibility and accountability, and maintains professional licensure and compliance standards.
