Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) in a healthcare facility environment. This position involves providing physical therapy services to patients in an inpatient setting, focusing on acute care including total joints, cerebrovascular accidents (CVAs), congestive heart failure (CHF), COPD, and sepsis. The role requires adherence to clinical standards and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and rehabilitation.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: State licensure as a Physical Therapist in the designated state; American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; at least one year of relevant inpatient experience outside of clinical rotations; Understanding of pathology, lab values, and interdisciplinary communication.
• Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week. Shifts are scheduled from Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday, with weekends and holidays rotated. No self-scheduling is permitted.
• Responsibilities: Delivering physical therapy treatments to acute inpatient patients, managing caseloads of approximately 8-10 cases per day, documenting patient progress using electronic charting systems, and collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Certifications: BLS Certification required.
• Additional Information: Start date is 11/02/2026, with an end date of 02/01/2027. No more than 5 days of Request for Time Off (RTO) allowed. Attendance is expected for both weekdays and weekends as per the shift schedule.
