Job Summary
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (CCL TECH) position in Nebraska involves working within a busy, level 1 trauma medical centers interventional catheterization laboratory. The role encompasses assisting with a variety of structural and percutaneous procedures, utilizing advanced equipment, and supporting a dynamic team to ensure efficient patient care.
Job Details
- Position Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
- Location: Nebraska
- Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10-hour day shifts, with call 2-3 weeknights and 1 full weekend per month
- Schedule: 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ARRT, ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), Nebraska state radiology license, minimum of 2 years of experience (preferably 3), experience with structural and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures
- Additional Qualifications: Experience with both structural and PCI procedures is essential. Must be knowledgeable with equipment such as Philips Azurion, Acist Manifold, IVUS - Philips, Boston, OCT, Balloon Pump, Impella, Penumbra, Philips XPER, Shockwave, and Rotablade.
- Responsibilities: Scrubbing in and manipulating fluoroscopy tables, assisting with complex procedures such as high-risk PCI, chronic total occlusion (CTO), structural heart procedures including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and Mitral Clip, managing supplies, and operating advanced imaging and intervention devices.
- Training & Orientation: 1.5 weeks of training including modules and hands-on experience in the lab.
- Additional Information: Very busy, efficient lab with a focus on creating a balanced team and workday. No float requirements.
