Interventional Cath Lab Rad Tech

Overview

Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Cath Lab Rad Tech (ARRT required)
Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Department: Cath lab
Unit details: 7 labs in a 500-bed academic medical center with level 1 trauma designation

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Nebraska
Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ARRT
Experience with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
Experience with structural procedures

Preferred Qualifications

3 years of experience

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 10-hour day shifts
Call: 2-3 weeknights and 1 full weekend per month

Responsibilities

Scrub in and manipulate the fluoro table
Operate and assist with percutaneous procedures
Operate and manipulate the manifold
Work on PCI, high risk PCI, CTO, heart failure, structural procedures, TAVR, and Mitral Clip cases
Be knowledgeable on supplies

Additional Details

Hospital-issued scrubs
1.5 weeks of training, including modules and hands-on training in the rooms
No floating to other units or departments
