Description

Job Summary:
CT Technologist in Carlsbad. This role involves providing professional, timely, and accurate diagnostic computed tomography examinations of specific anatomy as prescribed by the referring physician, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. The position requires working the night shift with extended hours, supporting both inpatient and outpatient diagnostic services.

Job Details:

  • Certifications and Qualifications: ARRT CT certification required; licensed by the state as a general radiographer; graduate of an accredited AMA school.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT and X-ray required; no minimum experience if not specified.
  • Schedule: Night shifts, Thursday through Sunday, 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM, with 4 days of call per month, totaling 40 hours per week.
  • Responsibilities: Performing routine diagnostic CT scans including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures; knowledge of CT system processing; surgical and sterile procedures; studies with or without contrast media; cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Additional Information: No call, no floating, and no 48-hour guarantees approved; scrub color is flexible; EMR system used is Medhost.
