Job Details

• Position: Occupational Therapist (OT) SNF
• Location: Texas
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Texas license or compact license, BLS certification (AHA), 2 years of occupational therapy experience in a long-term care (LTC) setting
• Preferred Qualifications: Strong collaboration skills and effective communication abilities
• Additional Information: Candidate must be resident and family-focused, capable of building a positive facility culture, and proficient in evaluating and developing occupational therapy treatment programs. The role involves proactive caseload management, including building and maintaining patient treatment opportunities, with expectations to meet productivity standards. Guaranteed hours apply when on-site and available, even if treatment volume is insufficient. Candidates should be prepared to reschedule or complete treatments as clinically appropriate and communicate any barriers to treatment to facility leadership.
