Job Summary
MRI Technologist in the MRI specialty is responsible for performing routine and specialized Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to produce diagnostic images for physicians and other health care providers. This role involves working independently to ensure safe, accurate, and timely imaging, while effectively communicating with patients, their families, and the medical team.
Job Details
- Certifications: CRT or ARMRIT (MRI) or ARRT (MRI); BLS required
- Education Requirements: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or equivalent education/experience
- Experience: 5 years relevant recent experience
- Location Requirements: Not specified

- Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week
- Additional information: Role includes performing diagnostic MRI examinations, operating complex stationary and mobile equipment, preparing patients, assisting physicians, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. May also support clerical tasks such as updating electronic health records and inventory management. The position requires adherence to safety standards to minimize radiation exposure and maintain a clean, safe environment. Candidate should possess a good understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, along with strong communication skills.
