Job Summary
Ultrasonographer General in the field of Ultrasound (Ultrasonographer) is needed for a high-risk obstetric imaging role at a healthcare facility. The position involves performing diagnostic ultrasound scans on patients from first to third trimester pregnancy, specifically focusing on maternal-fetal medicine. The ultrasound technician will produce high-quality images to support physicians and healthcare providers in diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of pregnancy-related conditions.

Job Details

  • Location: The position is based at a healthcare facility in a specified location.
  • Certifications, Education, and Experience: Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program; minimum of 2 years of experience as an OB Ultrasound (US) specialist; ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification in both Fetal Echocardiography (FE*) and OB/GYN, as well as BLS (Basic Life Support); valid CA State License and applicable certifications with valid expiration dates.
  • Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, from 7:45 AM to 4:45 PM, on variable days.
  • Responsibilities: Conduct diagnostic scans including first, second, and third trimester ultrasounds, biophysical profiles, fetal anatomical surveys, and specialized procedures such as nuchal translucency screening, Doppler studies, and transvaginal ultrasounds.
  • Additional Information: The role requires experience with high-risk obstetric imaging, competence in specialized sonography procedures, and familiarity with GE ultrasound equipment.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates must provide valid licensure and certification documentation, along with two references from within the last year.
