Job Summary
The CT Technologist position is located within a healthcare facility. This role involves performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to support diagnostic interpretation. The technologist will ensure quality and efficient imaging, patient education, and regulatory compliance.
Job Details

- Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Must have 2 (or be eligible for and obtain within 1 year of hire date) of the following registries: ARRT registration in Radiology (R), Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR), Mammography (M), Nuclear Medicine Technology (N), Sonography (S), ARDMS registration in Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer (RMSKS), Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMTCB). Current BLS certification (or must be obtained within 90 days).
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience as a practicing Technologist in any of the modalities listed above, 2 preferred. Technologist will be encouraged to cross-train into other modalities including, but not limited to CT, MRI, DEXA, and Mammography. Effective communication and general knowledge of all Microsoft Office products are also preferred.
- Additional Information: Performs quality control in accordance with manufacturers recommendations, practices radiation safety per ALARA standards, and performs exams based on department protocols or radiologist instructions. Responsible for patient education, equipment troubleshooting, supply inventory, and documentation. Must be flexible to work overtime, fill in for emergencies, and assist with other imaging modalities as needed. The candidate will rotate through various imaging duties, assist with patient transportation, and support departmental operational needs.
- Submission Requirements: All procedures must be verified with patient identification, relevant paperwork completed, and prior studies available before submission for radiologist interpretation. Must notify radiologist of emergent cases and assist with additional training or certification as necessary.
