Job Summary
CT Technologist in the CT specialty is located in the Radiology department. This position involves performing imaging procedures for both adult and pediatric patients across various modalities, adhering to department protocols, and ensuring patient safety and care standards are met.
Job Details
- Position Description: Imaging procedures include all areas for both adults and pediatrics, except Interventional Radiology (IR), which is only for adults. The technologist will provide individual unit-specific support as detailed in pulse and must be able to start IVs.
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: BLS certification (AHA), Certified CT Technologist with ARRT (CT), West Virginia license, and minimum 2 years of experience.
- Schedule: Day shifts (7:00 am - 7:30 pm, 8:00 am - 8:30 pm, and 8:30 am - 9:00 pm) with alternate days Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, along with on-call responsibilities. The minimum hours per week are 36.
- Additional Information: Advanced equipment such as Canon, Toshiba, and Fuji Synaps are used, with typical orientation lasting up to 2 weeks. The technologist must submit an unexpired driver's license and radiation badge and follow cancellation policies with a limit of two shifts canceled per 13-week assignment.
