Physical Therapist - Outpatient, Decatur, IL This outpatient orthopedic clinic seeks an experienced Physical Therapist to join their collaborative team environment. The role involves managing a patient caseload that includes a variety of musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and post-operative conditions, with a focus on delivering high-quality care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Job Details
- Position Description: Outpatient Physical Therapist position in Decatur, IL, supporting outpatient orthopedic services with a focus on patient-centered care and collaborative treatment approaches.
- Required Qualifications: Current licensure as a Physical Therapist; outpatient case management experience; strong communication skills; ability to work effectively within a PT/PTA clinical team; more than 1 year of clinical experience preferred; minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options available. Clinic hours are Monday and Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM; Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Additional Information: Scheduled evaluation times are in 30-minute blocks, and sessions typically last 1 to 1.25 hours. Case types include Achilles Tendonitis, ACL Tear, Back Pain, Post-Operative, Calf Strain, Disc Herniation, Fractures/Stress Fractures, Low Back Pain, Headache, Meniscus Tear, Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, Plantar Fasciitis, Postural Dysfunction, Rotator Cuff Non-Surgical Intervention, Balance, Deconditioning, Neck and Back Pain, Vestibular Therapy, and Manual Therapy. The patient population includes adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The team includes front desk staff, rehab aides, 2 PTs, and 1 PTA. The facility utilizes NextGen documentation system. Dress code is business casual. Candidate-facing differentiator includes support from AI technology that assists with clinical documentation.
