Job Summary
Polysomnographer located in the community. This position involves providing specialized sleep disorder testing and analysis in a healthcare facility setting. The role requires technical expertise in sleep studies, patient education, and equipment management to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, RPSGT, RRT, SDS, RPSGT or RRT w/SDS, must have Respiratory Care Practitioners License.
- Education Requirements: Experience requirement: 1 year.
- Location Requirements: Position available in the community hospital setting.
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year required.
- Schedule: Shift times are days, with 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include performing Adult and Pediatric Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT), Full Face and Nasal Mask applications, Sleep Polysomnography, ECG, EEG, Respiratory Inductance Plethysmography, and other specialized procedures.
- Use of equipment such as Alice 6 G3 software and ResMed CPAP units is required.
- Additional clinical duties involve patient education, infection control, and collaboration within an interdisciplinary support team.
- Candidates must include responses regarding previous work at Providence facilities, references covering at least one year within the last three years, and acknowledgment of travel and float requirements.
