Radiation Therapist in RTT specialty located at the healthcare providers facility. This role involves administering radiation therapy according to physicians instructions and treatment plans, while assisting in technical preparations and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from a Radiation Therapy Technologist program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), and Radiation Therapy certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). No minimum years of experience required.
• Responsibilities include administering radiation therapy, entering data into computer systems, assisting in the preparation of treatment plans, constructing patient immobilization devices, maintaining records, and performing routine and complex radiation treatments such as total body irradiation, stereotactic radiosurgery, and brachytherapy.
• Additional information: Uses protective equipment and procedures to ensure safety; performs quality assurance procedures per state and federal guidelines; provides clinical instruction and evaluation for student radiation therapists.
• Schedule notes: The clinic operates from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and shifts may vary within these hours.
