CT Technologist in Southern California This position involves operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images used for diagnosing medical conditions. The role includes performing a variety of imaging procedures such as general radiography and fluoroscopy within a hospital setting.

Job Details

• Location: Southern California
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology; Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)); Radiologic Tech (RT) license in California; Advanced Certification in CT (required in Oregon and Hawaii, preferred in California); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; Fluoroscopy license in California, if operating fluoroscopy equipment; Venipuncture certification in California, if performing contrast administration.
• Essential Functions: Operates CT and performs additional imaging procedures; produces reformatted images for radiologist interpretation; manages image transfer through PACS and teleradiology; maintains accurate records and ensures patient data confidentiality; performs routine equipment maintenance and manages supply inventory.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate adherence to all facility and regulatory standards.
