Job Summary
Pharmacist Inpatient (PHARM IP) in the healthcare facility located in the specified region. This role involves performing pharmacy duties including medication order verification in Epic, checking floor stock, compounded sterile products, and scheduling for surgeries. The position is designed for a pharmacist with hospital pharmacy experience, offering a consistent schedule during evening shifts.
Job Details
- Position Description: General pharmacy duties including pharmacist order verification in Epic, checking floor stock, compounded sterile products, VTE high risk determination, and scheduling patient surgeries 7-10 days prior to procedures.
- Equipment Utilized: Epic, MILT, among others.
- Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; hospital pharmacy experience of 2-3 years; eligible for licensure submission; minimum of 1 year of experience; location flexibility.
- Schedule: Evening shifts from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM, with 8 hours per shift and a minimum of 40 hours per week. No weekends or call required.
- Additional Information: The pharmacy team will undergo orientation focusing on Epic order verification, sterile compounding, medication preparation, and double-checking technician work. Pharmacists may work the middle shift and will receive training for opening and closing shifts.
