Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist in the specialty of Cardiac Cath Lab Tech is based at a Level I trauma acute care hospital with 562 beds. This 26-week position offers a schedule of three 12-hour days per week, with on-call duties as needed, and requires active licensure and a minimum of one year of experience in diagnostic or interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.

Job Details

  • Required Qualifications: Active license; ACLS, BLS, ARRT (preferably R), and RCIS certifications; 1 year of experience; experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath procedures; Cerner charting system experience; minimum 36 hours/week schedule consisting of 3 days of 12-hour shifts (0630-1900); on-call rotation required, with flexible scheduling; ability to work 2-3 weekends per contract.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a Level I trauma center or community hospital setting; familiarity with cardiac implant device procedures, IABP placement/removal, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias; experience with sterile technique and isolation precautions.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Equipment setup, recognition of dysrhythmias, sterile technique adherence, patient data interpretation, and procedural support in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
  • Schedule: 3x12 days shifts from 0630 to 1900, totaling at least 36 hours per week, with on-call responsibilities as required.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates must be pre-closed at time of submission, with SSN and DOB provided, and availability for interviews included. RTO requests should ideally not exceed 5 days.
  • Special Notes: Floating within scope is not required; candidates should discuss schedule preferences with the manager.
