Description
Job Summary
Nuclear Medicine Technologist, located at a Level III trauma center, is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using specialized equipment such as Siemens Symbia EVO and GE Optima Spect. This position involves working primarily with adult patients, with occasional pediatric cases, and requires applying technical skills in stress tests, peripheral IV placement, and radiopharmaceutical dosing.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification; ARRT-N or NMTCB-Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist credential; valid Washington state license (must be in hand or have proof of application from more than 6 weeks ago); at least 2 years of acute care experience; experience with patient types including thyroid cancer, lung scan, HIDA scan, HIDA with EF, scan and uptake, 3 face bone scan, and whole-body bone scans; skills in stress tests, starting peripheral IVs, I131 and I123, and ordering doses.
- Schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a total of 40 hours per week.
- Position start date: 11/02/2026.
- Position end date: 01/30/2027.
- The technologist may work solo or with another nuclear medicine professional and must be able to operate Siemens Symbia EVO, GE Optima Spect, and Nutrec pharmacy systems.
- Floating: Float rotation may be required.
- Candidates must demonstrate experience with the specified patient types and imaging procedures, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment.
