Job Summary
The location is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CCL TECH) for a short-term assignment. The candidate will be responsible for supporting high-risk coronary and neuro interventions, scrubbing for procedures, and adapting to neuro interventional monitoring and circulating duties when needed, in a fast-paced, acute care environment.

- Position Description:
Unit notes specify that candidates must have experience in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) and neuro procedures. The role involves scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating during high risk coronary interventions and STEMI cases. The technician must be willing to learn circulating and monitoring roles in neuro interventions. - Required Qualifications:
Certifications include ACLS (AHA), ARRT (Radiologic Technologist), BLS (AHA). Education requirements include a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, with an active Illinois license or confirmation of application process. The candidate must also possess ARRT certification and be experienced in high risk coronary and STEMI interventions. - Schedule:
Shift hours are 9 hours per day, with a total of 36 hours per week, starting at 7:00 or 8:30 AM as assigned. The period of employment is from October 12, 2026, to January 11, 2027. - Additional Information:
Candidates should be able to respond to call within 30 minutes, with weekend and holiday call requirements. The role may require floating to electrophysiology (EP) or interventional radiology (IR) units. Scrubs are provided, and unit-specific orientation involves five shifts during the first week. - Submission Requirements:
Application must include the last four digits of the clinician's SSN, confirmation of active Illinois license or application initiation, understanding that OSF enforces a drug-free campus, and availability to produce a negative drug screen.
