Job Summary
Vascular Sonographer The organization is seeking an experienced vascular sonographer for a full-time position. The candidate will perform outpatient ultrasound procedures related to vascular structures, ensuring high-quality image generation and patient assessment. The role involves maintaining equipment, monitoring data systems, and supporting patient care throughout the procedure process.
Job Details
- Position Description: Demonstrates competence in delivering pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care including patient assessment and emergency cardiac care (CPR is required). Assists with post-procedure transport as needed. Ensures equipment is calibrated and maintained daily, performs troubleshooting, and reports issues. Generates ultrasound images of vascular-related structures and may provide staff training. Monitors and records patient information, maintains data systems, and prepares reports. Prepares procedure rooms and equipment for daily use.
- Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM; minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Accredited associates degree in sonography, radiology, or related field; completion of a twelve-month ultrasound program; BLS certification; RDCS certified through ARDMS or RCS, ACS, RCCS certified through CCI.

- Additional Information: The position requires at least two years of current cardiovascular sonographer/echocardiographer experience, with proficiency in outpatient cardiac ultrasound procedures and Epic electronic health record system experience. Skills include patient assessment, emergency cardiac care, ultrasound imaging, equipment maintenance, and quality assurance monitoring. The candidate must be registered as an echocardiographer (RDCS or CCI registered).
