Job Summary
CT Technologist Location: unspecified. This position involves performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures in a healthcare facility. The role requires technical proficiency in various CT scans and procedures, contributing to patient diagnosis and treatment.
Job Details
- Certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, Fluoro Permit
- Education and Experience Requirements: 0 years of experience minimum, valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission)
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certified as ARRT CT and ARRT R, possess a BLS certification, valid state license in hand, and at least 1 year of related experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Community Hospital, LTAC, and trauma level I and II centers, including advanced imaging procedures such as fluoroscopy, enema studies, surgery/C-arm, ER, ARRT advanced certification, fluoroscopy permit
- Responsibilities: Perform a wide range of CT exams including abdomen with/without contrast, head with/without contrast, pelvis without/with contrast, thoracic, vascular, and transplant studies, utilizing specialized equipment such as Toshiba systems and multiplanar reconstruction (MRI).
- Additional Information: Must be able to fulfill clinical duties involving adult, pediatric, neonatal, and geriatric patient populations, with a patient census averaging 20 daily visits, including participation in holiday shifts as required. Candidates may be expected to float between nearby facilities.
