Description

Job Summary
MRI Technologist position located in Wenatchee, WA. This role involves performing all magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations in a hospital setting, ensuring patient safety and providing high-quality imaging services. The position requires a detailed understanding of MRI procedures and safety protocols to support clinical operations effectively.

Job Details

Shift: Evenings, 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required: Washington State Certification as radiologic technologist, BLS, graduate of a course in Radiologic Technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), ARRT registered in MRI, at least 2 years of MRI experience
Essential Functions: Prepare and perform MRI examinations, operate MRI equipment safely, develop and monitor procedures for efficient scanner utilization, perform IV access and administer contrast media under physician supervision, maintain cleanliness of equipment, follow MRI safety and quality assurance procedures, utilize PACS, RIS, and current electronic medical records efficiently, complete necessary paperwork, comply with continuing education requirements, lift patients safely, transfer patients using ergonomic techniques and safe handling devices
