Job Summary
MRI Technologist MRI Location unspecified. This position involves independently performing imaging procedures within a healthcare facility. The role requires technical expertise, clinical judgment, and a focus on patient safety and care while executing a variety of MRI exams.

Job Details

• Qualifications: Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology, or completion of an accredited CNMT, ARMRIT, or ARDMS program with MRI registry. MRI registry must be acquired within 18 months of the primary registry date or hire if already obtained. CNMT, ARDMS, and ARMRIT graduates must obtain MRI registry within 12 months of hire date. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. Valid licenses and certifications include ARRT Certificate or ARMRIT Certificate, or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC), or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS), as applicable by state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The role involves maintaining MRI safety protocols, ensuring equipment and exam competency, reviewing patient data and physician orders, and providing clear communication to patients. Responsibilities include proper documentation, coding, and archiving of exams, as well as collaboration with healthcare team members. The candidate must demonstrate a caring approach, professionalism, and the ability to work efficiently within the department.
