CT Technologist Various Locations. This position involves coordinating and participating in all computerized tomography (CT) scanning procedures within a healthcare facility. The role requires setting up, monitoring, and operating complex CT equipment to perform diagnostic imaging, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards.

Job Details

• Position Description: Coordinates and participates in all computerized tomography scanning procedures, operating complex equipment for diagnostic purposes.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (AHA); Michigan license verification for nurses; two or more years of CT experience; no minimum experience specified for other professions; valid Full-time employment status of the healthcare provider is preferred.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include patient preparation, contrast media injection, image capturing and recording, equipment calibration, quality control, assisting radiologists, and emergency response. The role also involves maintaining safety standards, supplies inventory, and providing instruction to new personnel.
