Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) The healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for an inpatient setting in the specified location. This position involves providing therapeutic services to patients with various medical conditions within an acute inpatient environment, focusing on recovery and rehabilitation. The successful candidate will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Job Details

Location: The position is based in an inpatient healthcare setting serving a diverse patient population.
Schedule: 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Shifts are scheduled on days, with weekend coverage rotating approximately 2-3 days per month. No self-scheduling.
Required Qualifications: AZ Physical Therapist license in good standing, active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and a minimum of 1 year of experience outside of clinicals, with a solid understanding of pathology, lab values, and interdisciplinary communication.
Responsibilities: Provide physical therapy services for cases including total joints, cerebrovascular accidents (CVA), congestive heart failure (CHF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and sepsis. Engage in interdisciplinary communication and contribute to patient recovery plans within the acute inpatient environment.
